Amish Woodworking has 4 methods of shipping based on the customer's specific needs and based on the size of the shipment and delivery requirements. The customer will be given a quote ahead of the shipment and all shipping and packaging will be invoice prior to shipment. Shipments are quoted FOB from Amish finishing facilities in Northern Indiana.



The following are the four methods of pick up or shipment.

1. Customer Pick Up

Customer may pick up products directly from the finishing facility between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Products are not package so the Customer is responsible bring his or her own packaging material or blankets, etc.


2. Curbside Delivery & Direct Delivery

Curbside Delivery & Direct Delivery, products are blanket wrap and shipped directly from finishing facility to the customer premise.

  • Products are blanket wrap and delivered on a flat fee based on the size of the load and the mileage to the customers premise.
  • Delivery is curbside or outside the home
  • Driver will assist with unloading to the ground.
  • Customer is responsible for delivery inside the customers premise, driver may assist
  • Delivery Time is usually 5 days from pick up.
  • Depending on size of the shipment the vehicle used may be a Van, Trailer or up to a 53 foot tractor trailer Unit, it is important that the customer discuss accessibility ahead of time.


  • 3. Curbside Delivery via Common Carrier

    Curbside Delivery via Common Carrier, products are picked up at the finishing facility and then professionally packaged in boxes or crates with protective foam.

  • After the products are professionally packed they are shipped via less-than-truckload common carrier (Yellow Freight, Roadway, etc).
  • Once shipment arrives at local destination terminal the customer will receive a call to schedule a shipment.
  • Normally the delivery is made on a 28' to 48' truck and delivery is at the end of the Truck so the Customer is responsible for delivery inside the customers premise, it is important that the customer discuss accessibility ahead of time. Curbside Delivery with optional lift-gate service is an additional $50.00
  • Customer should remove all packaging material and check to make sure that there is no damage before signing the Delivery Receipt.
  • Delivery Time is usually 10 to 14 business days.


  • 4. In Premise Delivery in Place Delivery

    In Premise Delivery in Place Delivery, products are picked up at the finishing facility and then professionally either blanket wrapped or packaged in boxes or crates with protective foam

  • After the products are professionally packed they are shipped via less-than-truckload common carrier (Yellow Freight, Roadway, etc).
  • Once shipment arrives at local destination terminal the customer will receive a call to schedule a shipment.
  • Normally the delivery is made on a 28' to 48' truck and the trucker will have the necessary support people or tools to deliver the product and put them in the premise in the place the customer wants them, it is important that the customer discuss accessibility ahead of time.
  • Customer should remove all packaging material and check to make sure that there is no damage before signing the Delivery Receipt.
  • Delivery Time is usually 10 to 14 business days.
  • Customer is responsible for removal of packaging material, Inside Delivery with debris removal, minimum additional $215.00


  • Customers are responsible for the following:

  • ALWAYS CHECK FOR DAMAGES PRIOR TO SIGNING THE DELIVERY RECEIPT.
  • BLANKETS BELONG TO THE SHIPPER OR TRUCKER BUT OTHER PACKAGING MATERIAL BELONGS TO THE CUSTOMER AND IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DESPOSE OF IT.
